On September 18 2013, Attorney Benjamin J. Aloia was appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court to serve on the statewide Committee on Model Civil Jury Instructions. The committee’s duty is to ensure that Michigan’s Model Civil Jury Instructions are concise, understandable, conversational, neutral and not argumentative. Attorney Aloia will serve the remainder of the term of Hon. Patricia J. Boyle, former justice of the Michigan Supreme Court, who resigned from the committee. Mr. Aloia’s term will end on December 31, 2015.
