On February 1, 2021, the Macomb Township Board of Trustees appointed Aloia & Associates, P.C. and the law firm of York, Dolan and Tomlinson, as Macomb Township’s new General Counsel.
“Each of us have over 20 years of experience representing municipalities of various nature and private businesses. And we are based in Macomb County. Our families are from Macomb County. I live in Shelby Township just down 25 Mile Road. So this is very important to me. I have been monitoring the things going on in Macomb Township for a long time. So has Tim [Tomlinson] from afar. We are very excited about new leadership in the township and working with the current administration,” said Ben Aloia.
Aloia and Associates’ primary duties as General Counsel will include those relating to building department matters, litigation not covered by insurance, planning and zoning and public works.
