Ben Aloia (91’) has been appointed to the De La Salle Board of Trustees. He is the President of Aloia Law, a law firm based in Macomb County, that specializes in complex business, commercial real estate, and municipal litigation and transactions.
Ben formerly served as a DLS Board of Trustees member from 2006 to 2012. During his tenure on the Board, he was appointed as the Chairperson from 2009 to 2012. Since then, Ben has been active with the school by serving on volunteer committees, coaching the DLS Mock Trial Team, and advising the school on its zoning and property development issues. He is also a parent to Lorenzo (24’) who just graduated from DLS, and Ben (25’), a current senior.
“I firmly believe in the benefits of a faith-based LaSallian education and the mission of De La Salle, which give our young men a tremendous advantage as they move onto college and life as husbands, parents, and positive contributors in society,” said Ben. “I am honored to have an opportunity to serve as a member of the DLS Board of Trustees once again and support our new President Brother Thomas Zoppo. I am hoping my perspective and experience can assist the Board as the school continues to strive for excellence and address any challenges ahead.”
