Congratulations to the DLS Mock Trial Team who won the 2016 Macomb County Regional Tournament this weekend! The team will compete in the State Finals on March 19th. The coaches are DLS graduates Ben Aloia (91′) from Aloia & Associates, P.C., and Kyle Kole (06′) from Lucido & Manzella, P.C., as well as DLS school counselor Jacob Jones. The trial involved an eccentric student defendant named Casey Campbell who is charged with terrorism and attempted murder for allegedly planting a bomb at his high school in an attempt to blow up a group of bullies.
