Benjamin J. Aloia was recently named one of Metro Detroit’s top real estate lawyers in DBusiness Magazine for 2016. DBusiness polled 19,000 attorneys in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw and Livingston counties to compile their list of top lawyers in 48 legal specialties.
Benjamin’s real estate practice includes representing lenders, borrowers, municipalities, real estate developers, builders, landlords, tenants and individuals in complex commercial real estate transactions and litigation involving arms-length sales, foreclosures, evictions, leases, development and zoning issues, construction issues, short sales, title disputes, boundary disputes and condemnation. Aloia has also served as real estate counsel to the Macomb County Department of Roads since approximately 2003, handling virtually all of its right-of-way and real estate transactions, condemnation litigation, plat development and amendment issues, and challenges to public roads.
